With heat waves covering most of socal for the week, dressing in something comfortable, fashionable and keeps my legs covered is a must. I love summer for a whole host of reasons but one is I get to pull out all my breezy chiffon dresses. I'm not one to keep up with most trends and I try to think about the sustainability of fashion, so I'm a defined advocate in keeping special clothing pieces and simply re-inventing how to style them.
I made this particular dress back in 2016. It is one of my favorites, I find it timeless. This caftan style tank dress with layered chiffon I paired with my vintage coach bag and brushed silver earnings. I have been wearing these earnings a lot lately. They were my moms and match everything I'm wearing this season.
I'm usually always cold but when its nice and warm I can pull out my lace cover ups. Belts haven't been my thing since high school, so all the belts I do have are studded. I did find this cute faux fur belt at a local boutiques closing sale. It was only in one size and it was a tad to big but I fixed it to fit better.
